I am through and through a Pune-ite... Though with dad in the army, I have been almost all over the country and with 13 schools in my kitty, I can actually call myself a gypsy in the true sense but college and then on, I have had my base in Pune and so I proudly call myself part-marathi mulgi aani punekar :) Now those who have stayed in Pune would know that Pune as a city has absolutely no concept of street shopping... Those punekars who actually thrive and hence pine for street shopping satiate their desires in Mumbai.
Though am not much of a street shopper mostly cause I cannot bargain/haggle and secondly cause I have to try an outfit before I buy it but I still do indulge in some of it when I am either visiting my parents in Bombay or my in-laws in Delhi...
On one such occasion, while browsing through stalls at GK1 M Block Market in Delhi, I chanced upon this Zara dress on the pavement! Yes you read right! I got a ZARA dress on the pavements of Delhi! Hallelujah! And I got it for a measly INR 350/- bucks all thanks to my sister-in-law's bargaining skills ;)
